Viterbo University invites applications for a Director of Graduate Admissions. The Director of Graduate Admissions is responsible for the planning, organization and implementation of the recruiting function for all Viterbo University graduate programs, in cooperation with appropriate program directors and/or department chairs and deans. Coordinates with other areas such as marketing in support of graduate recruiting. This is a full time, 12 month, administrative position.
Direct and administer the recruiting function for DNP, MBA/DNP and new graduate programs (unless otherwise allocated in the program approval process). Perform the direct recruiting functions for the various graduate programs as needed, including one-on-one sessions, presentations to students and employers, and initial counseling. Oversee graduate program recruitment team, including Iowa and Wisconsin sites (including hiring and training staff, ongoing development, managing recruitment goals and evaluations). Develop, in cooperation with the graduate programs and marketing, an annual recruitment and marketing plan for all graduate programs. Communicate as appropriate with graduate program directors and staff, enrollment operations staff, and marketing staff. Work with administrative staff of graduate programs to ensure smooth functioning of the University-wide CRM and records system. Represent Viterbo University's graduate programs in the community. Conduct research, gather data and prepare reports regarding graduate education as needed. Manage graduate recruitment and travel budget. Serve on enrollment management directors team, graduate council, and university committees as requested. Participate in national, regional and state associations or conferences as appropriate. Maintain membership and participation in the National Association of Graduate Admissions Professionals. Be conversant in all academic programs at all academic levels. Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President for Enrollment Management.

Qualifications:
Minimum of bachelor's degree required, master's degree preferred. Minimum of five years of experience in recruiting and admissions in a higher education setting is required, at graduate level preferred. Demonstrated experience in effective management of staff and resources is required. Experience drafting, executing and assessing an annual recruitment and marketing plan is required.
