The Centre for Public Policy Alternatives (CPPA) is an independent, non-partisan public policy think-tank committed to rigorous research through which public policies are examined and best practices disseminated. CPPA aims to help sub-Saharan African governments, institutions, and businesses create innovative policy solutions to development challenges.

Job Title: Senior Research Associate

Location: Lagos


Job Description

• We seeks to recruit exceptional persons as “Senior Research Associates” with specialization in health economics, agric economics, financial economics, energy economics and policy.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• An Ideal candidate should have a PhD degree. A masters degree can be considered provided the candidate can show evidence of research through; (i) Publications and participation in research or (ii) Work in academia for a minimum of 6 years.

In addition, prospective applicants should posses;

• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to convey complex concepts and recommendations, both orally and in writing, in a clear and persuasive style tailored to match different audiences.
• Ability to promote a knowledge sharing and learning culture.
• Ability to work in teams.
