A Laboratory Service Assistant position in ALBUQUERQUE, NM is available courtesy of Adecco Medical and Science. For this role you will need excellent communication and customer service skills. You will be responsible for collecting urine specimens and for performing basic administration duties (such as ordering supplies and updating patient billing information) in a medical setting. You will be representing a laboratory, which is based in San Diego, that provides lab services for clinics throughout the U.S.

Responsibilities:

Serving as main liaison between the clinic and the laboratory
Verifying test requisition forms
Specimen packing and shipping and ordering lab supplies
Being responsible for a Chromebook
Contacting the home office regarding questions or issues with billing information
Collecting urine samples from patients
Performing basic admin duties: Ordering supplies, updating billing information, labeling
Provide excellent customer service

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Must be able to pass extensive background check that covers 10 years - includes DMV records

No more than (1) moving violation in the past three years
No violations of DUI/DWI or reckless driving in the past 5 years

Schedule:

Monday and Tuesday: 8AM-11 then 5PM-8PM
Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday: 5PM-8PM
21 hours per week
Long term contract - no end date

Compensation:

$12.00 per hour
