Location: Catholic Community Services of Utah, 437 W 200 S SLC UT 84101Status: Non-Exempt, Part-time, with benefits
Salary: $14-15 hr DOE

Job Description:
Oversight of the Weigand Homeless Resource Center Evenings.
Responsibilities include:
Make sure clients scan-in at Intake desk. Make sure clients without scan cards complete intake sheet. Engage with security guards keeping them informed if safety issues arise on property Ensure evening stats and accompanying paperwork are turned in. Keep the WHRC Manager advised of any information or developments, which may have an impact on the Agency. Exercise a "team effort" with both staff and volunteers. Oversee the activity of WHRC weekend staff, volunteers and community service members. Ensure proper shutdown of the building at the end of the day. Clean and maintain main room and bathrooms at WHRC when janitor is not available. Communicate with evening Kitchen Supervisor. Other duties as assigned.
Work Environment inside/outside, office, warehouse, noise, temperature, etc.
Clean bathrooms when needed Properly dispose of drug paraphernalia when found.
Physical Demands including bending, sitting, lifting and driving
Ability to move around a large room and yard frequently each hour. Salt walkways during winter months.

Ability to get along with people. Ability to approach problem situations with tact and sensitivity. Ability to listen and consider issues, options, and alternatives to solving a problem. Must possess the personal qualities of integrity, compassion, and empathy, which encourage the trust, and confidence of others. Proficiency in oral and written communication. Must be able to maintain confidentiality. Ability to assert authority with sincerity and respect of others.
Education, training and or experience :
Ability to write and communicate effectively in English. Experience in computer software including, MS Word, Excel, and the internet. High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Background Screen/BCI requirement
Must pass BCI/FBI background check.
Licenses, certifications and credentials
None required.
Position status and expected schedule
This is a part-time position working 21.5 hours per week, afternoon through early evening. Schedule to be determined and may include Saturdays and/or Sundays.
