Density Atlas is a navigation system that helps users understand how their office space is used. Our platform gives real estate and workplace leaders the ability to explore their portfolios, identify over-performing and under-performing areas, and make data-driven adjustments. The result is a more sustainable footprint and better employee experience.
As a Staff Product Designer, you’ll work to define, create, and deliver all user-facing aspects of the Atlas product.
In this role you will
- Specialize in the Atlas product line and build a deep understanding of all stakeholders who manage and consume physical space at the companies we serve: workplace teams, real estate professionals, CFOs, design and construction teams, employees, etc
- Partner with a tight-knit team of product designers, product managers, product analysts, data scientists, and engineers and provide design leadership for Density’s flagship product
- Design early product concepts and partner with our product analytics and product management teams to test concepts with end users
- Participate in design reviews and share your work regularly with the design and company leadership
Minimum requirements
- 5+ years relevant product design experience
- Have experience working on complex, interactive products (business or consumer)
- Strong core product design skills: visual design, prototyping, interaction design, and information architecture
- Can think in systems — i.e. what are shared patterns and behaviors beyond the current “use case”
Preferred qualifications
- Have experience with visualization, data science, or geospatial mapping technologies
- You enjoy helping other designers learn and grow
- Can effectively explain your work, process, and decisions to cross-functional stakeholders
- Seek feedback from your cross-functional stakeholders and users to help you produce your best work
- Are detail-oriented and sweat the tiniest elements that lead to a better end product
