Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

  • BS or MS degree in computer science, or equivalent
  • 3+ years of software engineering with proven results in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems and services
  • Experienced with SDLC/Agile/Scrum processes
  • Desire to work in a hands-on, fast-paced and challenging environment
  • Experienced with Agile development methodology
  • Experienced with core Java, J2EE
  • Experienced with Eclipse IDE, SQL Developer, GIT Source Control
  • Experienced with application servers like WebLogic, Tomcat
  • Experienced with Oracle Database
  • Experienced with Microservices
  • Experienced with JSON, REST web services
  • Experienced with  HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Hands-on with configuration management and continuous integration tools like Ant, Ivy, and Jenkins

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs. Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated location(s)New York City Pay Range: from $100,900 to $182,400 per annum; eligible for bonus and equity.
Colorado Pay Range: from $90,600 to $172,800 per annum; eligible for bonus and equity.Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
