Celtra is on the fast track to success. Over the past two years Celtra has grown rapidly, we now host employees across 5 countries and 22 States in the US. Due to this continued growth, we are looking for an HR and Financial Compliance Manager to create and oversee Compliance Management.

As Celtra’s sole Support and HR Operations Manager, you will work across Finance, Legal, and Human Resources departments to ensure corporate alignment and compliance on a global scale. This includes being a subject matter expert on various federal, state, and local governmental regulations related to employment.

Reporting to Celtra’s SVP, Finance Controller, you will work with Senior Leadership to help drive our continued growth.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain subject matter expertise in applicable laws, regulations, regulator guidance, and leading compliance standards
  • Work alongside our Legal, Finance, and HR teams to create a Compliance Management Program
  • Anticipate, identify, and escalate risk scenarios (state compliance changes, filing, etc), while creating action plans to mitigate risk
  • Complete all required, state, provincial and international mandated reporting and filing
  • Partner with the Legal team to promote compliance through the application of country, state, provincial and local rules and regulations for all Celtra Locations (US, UK, Singapore, and Slovenia, and Croatia).
  • Proactively track new legislation and engage with Legal and HR leadership to develop new and/or modify existing policies to ensure compliance
  • Partner with Global HR Team to ensure that benefits and compensation programs are compliant with country, state, provincial and local rules for the Americas including mandated leave and pay equity regulations
  • Continuously monitor for emerging risks, both internal and external, compliance impacts, and regulatory focus areas

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience, at least 5 years of experience in risk, compliance, audit, or legal departments
  • Proven track record of managing State and international compliance
  • Knowledge of employment laws across various jurisdictions in the U.S. and internationally, Celtra currently has employees across 22 States and 5 countries.
  • Ability to prioritize among many conflicting needs and advocate a course of action while remaining flexible and responsive to dynamic situations
  • Proven track record for delivering results
  • SaaS experience a plus
