The Sr. Global Compliance Manager will report to the Director, People Operations and will focus on ensuring our compliance with employment and employee-benefits related statutory requirements globally.

The impact you will have

  • Manage HR/employment-related compliance globally, including: wage payment requirements, leave of absence, time tracking, mandatory training postings, background checks, recruitment-related compliance, and European Collective Bargaining Agreements
  • Lead the annual audit of all HR programs for compliance purposes and will partner with team leads (payroll, benefits, legal, and corporate compliance) to implement required changes
  • Review and stay current on all applicable rules and regulations related to employment and employee benefits compliance
  • Research legal and regulatory obligations together with internal counsel and local labor and employment attorneys
  • Recommend HR policy or practice changes to mitigate risks or penalties
  • Based on potential risks, recommends the prioritization of such changes or additions
  • Partner with teams, including: HRBPs, HRIS, and, Talent Acquisition, to manage communication updates, including updates to policies and necessary education to associates and managers
  • Manage necessary process changes throughout the organization (i.e. mandatory training, hiring practices)

What we look for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in an HR, compliance, or risk management role
  • Knowledge of relevant laws (e.g., FLSA, ERISA, FMLA,)
  • Experience with HRIS systems (Workday) and associated reporting tools
  • Advanced Excel skills (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
