Job Description

  • Software and hardware deployment, inventory, and configuration
  • Provide end-user support for Mac and Windows computers (hardware and software troubleshooting)
  • Provide end-user support for SaaS applications (e.g. Google Workspace Applications, Box, Slack, JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet, Webex, Zoom, etc.)
  • Provide end-user support for desktop applications (e.g. Office 365, Slack, Chrome, etc.)
  • New Hire IT onboarding and off-boarding
  • Order laptops and accessories for new hires and replacements
  • Endpoint patch management
  • Account provisioning and de-provisioning
  • Assist with periodic system access reviews
  • Assist with rollout of new IT systems and migrations affecting end users
  • Update internal wiki pages as needed with technical documentation
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience working in an IT Support, Systems Admin, or IT Security-related role
  • 2+ years experience with macOS and Windows 10 administration
  • 2+ years experience with software deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting; excellent understanding of troubleshooting methods
  • 2+ years experience with administering Google Workspace, Office 365, JIRA/Confluence, Slack, etc.
  • Administration of SaaS applications (e.g. Google Workspace, Office 365, Jira/Confluence, Slack, etc.)
  • Software deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting; excellent understanding of troubleshooting methods
  • Knowledge of system security (e.g. anti-virus, anti-malware, access control, and privilege management systems)
  • Intermediate experience with macOS administration and Windows 10 administration
  • Basic understanding of macOS Terminal commands and Windows PowerShell cmd commands
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
  • Excellent communication skills

Education, Certification, Licenses:

  • BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • IT or Security certifications preferred (e.g. CompTIA, Apple, Microsoft)
