What you will do:

  • Participate in design and development of projects, either independently or in a team.
  • Be self-sufficient and take ownership of seeing projects through to successful conclusions.
  • Be the gatekeeper of the codebase and ensure that it stays stable, secure, readable, and documented.
  • Work with a diverse team of experts in education, video production, security and IT infrastructure.
  • Tasks include working on technologies that deploy lab servers, integrate multiple API services, and track the success of our customers.

Requirements:

  • B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Preferably 8 years experience and deep knowledge of Python, Ansible, Postgres, JavaScript, Django, Terraform and AWS services.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GIT, and Splunk.
  • Understanding of machine and application logs.
  • Having done past work with Learning Management Systems, SCORM, XAPI, WebRTC, and Video Streaming technologies considered a bonus.

Note: Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location.  The base pay for this position is dependent on work location as set out below, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for bonus and benefits, and may be eligible for equity.

**** This is a PERMANENT Full-time role that can be located ANYWHERE in the US (Remote). U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency REQUIRED ****
