Account Executive
As our Account Executive, you will help us retain clients by executing the small details that make big events successful. No two days are the same as you work cross-functionally with the internal team, then communicate the latest details and timelines to the customer that will help start activate this sponsorship – everything from calendars, production timelines, presentations, event logistics, and more. To thrive in this role, you must have experience working in client-facing roles where you managed a lot of details and time-sensitive client work. You know how to communicate ideas and tailor your approach based on client needs. We’ll also teach you our unique approach and how to improve your client service skills, which makes this a perfect starting point to launch your career.
ABOUT GMR MARKETING
We are the Experience Agency Making Unforgettable Stories Born of Humanity
NOT JUST EXPERIENTIAL. EXPERIENCE.
The lines have blurred. People live in the physical, digital, and social worlds all at once, and your brand experiences should do the same.
NOT JUST TELLING. MAKING.
The best stories are lived, not heard. Make an immersive world for people to explore so they can experience something they’ll never forget.
NOT JUST CONSUMERS. HUMANS.
It all starts with the human. If you want to make a lasting impact, look beyond the wallet to understand what motivates and inspires people.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Brand event management. You should have experience managing the operations of an event (think scheduling, timelines, agendas) and the people it takes to execute a large event. You need to provide an example where you managed an event and created a contingency plan during the interview process.
- Detail-oriented. You will be producing presentations, client communications, and event details. These projects can’t be full of typos and mistakes.
- Multi-tasking. You know how to work independently to manage many inputs and collaborate with different teams without having your timeline get stalled or behind.
- Client service. You know how to adapt your approach based on client needs and priorities.
- Cross-collaboration. You have work experience where you have had to collaborate with people at many experience levels, incorporating ideas from every angle.
- Travel. Although we are a virtual-first team, you must be willing to travel internationally and domestically – to client events and internal meetings.
