Technical Account Manager

The Technical Account Manager will manage a portfolio of top tier accounts with a focus on optimizing their current capabilities and expanding their use cases by providing them deep technical mentoring in support of their Agile Product Development and Portfolio Management initiatives. The Technical Account Manager will form close partnerships with our Account Managers, Customer Success, Sales, Product Management, Engineering and Support teams to contribute to the ongoing success of our customers.

Responsibilities

Primary:

  • Deep dive into customer processes in order to perform Health Checks and provide recommendations on how to better utilize Targetprocess product capabilities and Solutions in order to maximize value for the customer
  • Deeply understand the product capabilities and solutions and be able to customize them to match customer requirements
  • As a domain expert in Agile methodologies, such as SAFe and Lean Portfolio Management, suggest improvements to customer processes helping them achieve great business outcomes.
  • Being able to understand requirements for integration or custom automation scripts and together with other technical roles scope out the requirements and assist customers with realizing the plan.
  • Working closely with top tier customers to ensure they become power users of our solution, as well as performing remote product demonstrations to the consumers as needed.
  • Mentoring customers to do things more efficiently with our solution with a focus on product and business domain best practices.
  • Coordinate with Support, Product Management, Engineering, & Customer Success to ensure the appropriate level of response to customer needs.
  • Analyzes technical concepts and translates them into business terms, and for mapping business requirements to technical features and product functionality
  • Quarterback escalated technical issues and collaborate with our support teams to deliver timely solutions

Other:

  • Gather customer feedback and work with the Product Management team to recommend how to improve product usability.
  • Drive or participate in internal organizational initiatives.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • B.S. Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, MIS, Finance or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of solid experience in a Technical Consultant, Product Specialist, Solution Architect or Technical Analyst role for medium to large-scale business software implementation projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

Skills

  • Previous experience in Managed Services, onsulting experience or Professional Services experience.
  • High-level knowledge of enterprise IT organizational, business, and technical environments.
  • Knowledge of Scaled Agile methodologies, including SAFe, Lean Porftolio Management, and team-level Agile like Scrum and Kanban.
  • Familiarity with IT financial management including budgeting cost allocations, capital & operating expense handling is a plus
  • Proactive, client-focused attitude with excellent organizational and analytical skills.

Technical Skills:

  • Ability to create or modify existing automation rules and scripts leveraging Javascript and/or Python
  • Technical background or experience in the Enterprise Software industry.
  • Experience with other work management and planning tools like Atlassian Jira, Azure DevOps, VersionOne, Rally, Planview, etc
  • Understanding of DevOps principles and tools
  • Strong to expert skills in data analysis/manipulation and building complex solutions

Recommended Certifications:

  • SAFe/ Lean Portfolio Management Certification

* The compensation for this role in the state of Colorado is between $79,700 and $95,000.
