You are a data-driven strategic thinker with ability to develop innovative techniques that drive operational efficiencies and unlock revenue opportunities.

What the role is:

This role will support the team by managing owned inventory, maximizing yield across multiple platforms and expand the ad portfolio with profitable solutions.  This role will own the vision and the strategy for the Ad Monetization business, manage external partners and ad platforms, and  develop and advocate for your team.

In this role you will:

  • Develops the long-term strategy to scale Drizly’s Ad Monetization, in partnership with functional peers in Sales, Account Management and Partner Media
  • Manages the P&L for onsite Ad Monetization business
  • Manages forecasting and yield management of owned and operated ad solutions
  • Responsible for the career management and development of an Ad Solutions/Strategy team lead, who will oversee a team of 3-5 client-facing senior managers focused on sales planning, project management and insights / thought-leadership
  • Responsible for career development of a Yield Management team lead, who will oversee a team of 4 – 6 internal ad operations professionals focused on onsite inventory management / performance, trafficking and insights / thought-leadership
  • Participates in externally facing client calls with sales partners, providing thought-leadership and strategic guidance
  • Drives innovation and scale through use of new technology, ad solutions, products and more
  • Closely monitors industry trends, and extracts actionable insights for team use
  • Responsible for managing vendor partners & being the product liaison for all Drizly ad tech platforms.
  • Responsible for effective partnership with cross functional leads to elevate the Retail Media Network – promoting best-in-class work, driving operational efficiencies and optimizing to optimal performance / profitability.
  • Oversees the strategic outputs from the team, including (but not limited to) ad solutions, insights, planning calendars, campaign strategies, pitch materials and optimization strategies
  • Oversees the operational outputs from the team, including but not limited to inventory management process, activation playbooks, performance updates and optimization methodology
  • Provides consultation and oversight to the internal and external teams for strategy development, campaign operations / activation, and reporting / analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Detailed oriented professional with proven track record of developing, managing and growing profitable ad products
  • 10+ yrs experience in digital media, ad operations, analytics
  • 3+ years of people management experience and track record of growing a highly effective group of qualitative and business-focused analytics professionals
  • 3+ years in quantitative business analysis; dedicated pricing, yield management and inventory management experience
  • Knowledge of retail media network landscape and operating model
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, and comfort in fast-paced/changing environment
  • Experience with online advertising platforms
  • Experience with order management systems, and/or other business analytics and reporting software.

For Colorado-based roles: The salary/hourly rate range for this role is $205,844 – $242,169 annually. You will be eligible to participate in Drizly’s bonus program, and may be offered an equity award, commissions, & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
