Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and supporting working papers
• Assist the month-end close including reconciliations and intercompany entries, accruals and general journal entry review to ensure financial reports are accurate and complete
• Assist with documenting and implementing policies, procedures and internal controls that will help support the company’s rapid expansion
• Prepare corporate tax documentation for year-end filing
• Drive process improvements efforts to streamline financials operations and reduce monthly close time
• Other duties and ad-hoc projects as required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA is a plus
• 4+ years of progressive experience in an accounting related function
• Highly organized, independent, self-motivated, objective thinker with excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• High proficiency in Excel (e.g., vlookups, sumifs, pivot tables)
• Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Proficient in ERP systems. Experience in NetSuite a plus
• Comfort working in a hybrid remove/office environment
• Previous experience at a public accounting firm, or venture backed company is a plus
