Manager, Sales Operations & Strategy – LATAM

Spotify is seeking a Manager to join our dynamic Spotify Ad Sales Operations & Strategy team! The focus of the Sales Ops team is to maximize business growth and performance by being the objective, trusted partner to the Sales Leadership. As the Manager of Latin America Sales Ops, you will be responsible for leading the reporting, analysis and strategic planning to drive revenue growth across Spotify’s LATAM market. You will champion growth strategies that meaningfully impact our business while providing ongoing revenue transparency through operational excellence. You will have the ability to question the effectiveness of current processes/procedures in order to inspire change to increase the efficiency of our sales team.
This role will work closely with Sales & Sales Leaders, FP&A, Product & Marketing and Business Operations and reports into the Head of Americas Sales Operations at Spotify. You will use your critical thinking and analytical skills to provide data driven insights, implement critical initiatives and build/refine operational processes within the Spotify Ads business.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify business trends and shifts, and recommend data-driven strategies and recommendations to the Sales Leadership.
  • Responsible for the weekly assembly and delivery of sales performance insights: dashboards, revenue forecasting, pipeline analysis, segmentation and account assignments, win rates, etc.
  • Identify and support project rollouts for new tools and process changes to increase the efficiency of our sales teams.
  • Engage with Sellers, Sales Directors, and Regional HOS’s to garner feedback on the sales process and seek opportunities to drive improvements and challenge the status quo.
  • Support the Quarterly and Annual Planning & Achievement processes as they relate to sales strategies, team and individual quotas, commissions and market/territory analysis.
  • Own any data and analysis for internal Quarterly and adhoc Business Review sessions on behalf of the regional and country leads.
  • Provide support for ad hoc reporting, analysis and troubleshooting for the LATAM Ad Sales teams.
  • Periodic travel required to the United States or Brazil/Mexico/various LATAM countries depending on home office location.

Who You Are

  • You have at least 5+ years of digital media experience in a strategic and analytical capacity
  • You have experience directly managing people and coaching and developing direct reports (preferred)
  • You have experience working in Tableau CRM (or another BI tool) connecting to multiple data sources and creating reports and dashboards. Experience with SQL preferred
  • You have experience working with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and the overall sales stack of tools that drive productivity
  • You have strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to determine trends and propose solutions.
  • You have the ability to identify necessary sales process improvements and lead change
  • You are organized and can juggle working on multiple different projects at once
  • You have a growth mindset and are a creative problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • You have excellent collaboration skills working with multiple departments and individuals to reach common solutions that serve revenue growth
  • You are inquisitive and challenge the effectiveness of current processes and procedures
  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher from a leading College or University
  • You speak fluent Spanish, Portuguese, English
