ABOUT YOU

  • Proficient with technology: Your family might consider you to be IT support.
  • Customer-facing experience: Have managed customer complaints, and worked with them to provide the best solution to solve a problem. 
  • Bilingual: You’re comfortable messaging in a conversational and formal tone in English and in Spanish. 
  • Confident written and oral communicator who is comfortable speaking in front of crowds. The groups we train can range from 8-50 people at a time.
  • Able to work under pressure: We’re a seasonal industry, which means crunch time can come in waves. You’ll need to be able to prioritize accordingly and ask for help when needed.
  • Empathetic: We’re changing the way a whole industry works, managing this change requires a high amount of empathy.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity: As we grow, the company continues to change. We need problem solvers who will help us tackle the big and small questions. Your day-to-day tasks will often change.
  • Positive, “get it done” attitude: This means that you come to the table with suggested solutions when presenting issues you’ve uncovered and you know how to work well with others to find the right path forward.
  • Full driver’s licence and a valid passport. Once COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, there may be need for some travel either to our headquarters in Toronto or to visit clients.
  • Be available outside of standard business hours and over weekends and holidays as needed.

NICE TO HAVES

  • You’ve worked with a startup
  • You’ve interacted with C-Level partners before
  • You’re comfortable messaging in a conversational and formal tone in English and in French
  • You’ve attended a college or university for: business administration, humanities, construction management, social sciences, or hospitality
  • You’ve worked with people in the trades
  • You’re able to troubleshoot basic issues with phones or tablets
  • You’ve had experience translating from English to other languages and vice versa

YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT BY

  • Resolving customer queries, recommending solutions, and guiding users through features and functionalities
  • Onboarding clients and conducting training for users who need help getting started on the Tread app or need guidance on best practices
  • Writing and producing Tread articles and videos showing how our features work
