Web Applications Developer

As the Web Applications Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain web applications and websites for Purdue Libraries. Responsibilities include coordinating with various stakeholders to define and develop high-quality solutions, maintaining/developing existing applications, and providing support.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, informatics, or related field
- Three (3) years of experience in web application design, development, implementation, troubleshooting, or closely related computer experience required
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of web development languages and frameworks, e.g. HTML/CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Experience creating, maintaining, and customizing websites and database-driven web applications
- Experience developing front-end interfaces using server and/or client-side scripting languages
- Ability to work independently
- Ability and desire to learn new skills and techniques
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent verbal communication skills
Preferred:
- Experience developing with Laravel
- Experience with WordPress and/or Drupal CMS
Additional Information:
