Senior Product Designer

What You’ll Do as a Senior Product Designer at CareRev is champion our healthcare professionals by designing simple, beautiful, and human-centered interfaces. As an influential senior member of the creative team, you will partner with the Lead Product Designer to foster a safe and creative design community, and mentor fellow designers as they grow at CareRev and beyond. You will use your stellar collaborative skills to join forces with cross-functional teams to understand your user’s end-to-end journey. You’ll use your hunger for exploration to drive user research and gather data to determine meaningful key metrics for success. You will craft lo-fi and hi-fi mockups and prototypes to communicate clearly with your team and work iteratively towards a viable design solution for every project. By participating in daily standups, you will work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to validate, execute, and QA your solutions.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 4+ years of experience working with product and engineering teams using Agile methodologies
  • A data-driven generalist who demonstrates a strong aptitude in UX strategy & research, visual design/graphic design core principles, and metrics analysis
  • Previous design work on iOS and Android applications, as well as web/SaaS applications
  • Passion for unraveling complexities into simple solutions
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, ticketing systems (Trello, Jira, etc.), and designing & prototyping with Figma
  • Previous experience working directly with engineers to iterate and improve your design solutions into feasible, shippable builds
  • Demonstration of a high level of exploration, curiosity, and empathy
  • Assist in orchestrating and bringing harmony between business and end-user goals
  • The ability to communicate and collaborate clearly with product managers and developers during the design process and beyond in QA
  • A willingness to defend sound design decisions.
  • Previous experience in the healthcare industry is a plus!
  • Some travel required up to 10%

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing at a desk
  • Prolonged periods of working on a computer
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds of work equipment
  • Ability to set up home office to include desk and chair
