Regional Sales Manager
The Regional Sales Manager is a critical role within Denovo, responsible for finding, qualifying, and closing Professional Services (PS) and Cloud Managed Services (MS) sales. Regional Sales Managers carry a quota and focus on accounts within an assigned territory, building and maintaining strong relationships with current and prospective customers. Incumbents in this role must have in-depth knowledge of product lines and services and the ability to understand how solutions can be tailored to meet customer needs.
The location for this position is somewhat flexible, but candidates must be located in the Eastern United States. Candidates in the Eastern time zone are strongly preferred, though candidates in the Central time zone will also be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Generate revenue selling Professional Services for Oracle Cloud Applications (SaaS), JD Edwards, and E-Business Suite, as well as Denovo’s Cloud Managed Services and Infrastructure portfolio solutions (Oracle Public Cloud, Denovo Private Cloud, AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Prospect for, qualify, and close net new sales of Professional Services, Cloud Managed Services, and Infrastructure solutions in assigned territory.
- Meet monthly/quarterly quotas in your territory.
- Provide realistic sales forecasts.
- Increase the level of field readiness and overall competitiveness by providing sales strategy, competitive positioning, value identification, partner guidance, and executive sponsorship.
- Create and execute key sales and business development initiatives to increase sales pipeline.
- Develop reference accounts that are willing to be active in sharing their success with Denovo solutions to prospective customers.
- Maintain knowledge of the latest trends in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Application Cloud industries
- Actively participate and provide leadership within industry networking organizations.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineering to determine best product and services fit.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Four-year degree in business or related field.
- 7+ years of ERP professional services sales and managed services sales experience, with a focus on new account acquisition, is strongly preferred. Experience selling ERP SaaS Applications, cloud managed services, consulting services, or similar solutions tied to enterprise application management and hosting. Experience in selling SaaS solutions is critical; experience selling Oracle or direct competitive SaaS solutions is preferred.
- This position requires a thorough understanding of consultative sales and building key relationships to understand, advise on, and provide solutions for customer challenges.
- Must have prior Oracle ecosystem sales experience with JD Edwards, E-Business Suite, or Cloud ERP solutions. Previous experience working with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, or other Cloud solutions is strongly preferred.
- Must be able to handle price negotiations with a focus on value-based selling and position the core differentiators of Denovo.
- Highly developed selling, customer relations, and negotiation skills with the ability to effectively communicate with C-level executives and line of business representatives.
- Strong time management, communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Must have high ethical standards and integrity, coupled with a desire to participate in growing our sales and support organization.
- Must be able to manage complex sales cycles and navigate the procurement organizations and processes.
