Are you passionate about keeping a great culture as we scale internationally? Do you enjoy juggling a varied set of responsibilities and interactions in a fast-paced environment? Does a role combining ownership of one of our most important global initiatives with serving as the most junior member of our US People team and spending 0.5-2 hours a day on foundational administrative tasks sound like a good combination to grow your career?

Dashlane is looking for a People Specialist and Global Onboarding lead to join our international People team. In this role you will lead the global onboarding program and 1-2 other global initiatives of your choice (such as People Analytics and/or performance reviews) and provide People/HR support to all individual contributors across the US. You’ll do all of this in a supportive environment and be able to collaborate with peers and leaders in France, Portugal and the US.

Commutable to our Manhattan office or able to travel there for Monday mornings 1-2x/month. (Since some new Dashlaners might choose to start from our NY office, this role will provide in-person support in those cases.)

We also offer relocation support.

At Dashlane you will:

  • Lead global New Hire Experience / Onboarding globally, maintaining and improving our hybrid-friendly, technology-enabled comprehensive process as we scale and based on new hire feedback.
    • Be the point person for the US-based Dashlaners, ensuring you help managers to prepare for their new hires, and become a trusted advisor to the new hires from the time they sign offer letters. Run 15-day check-in meetings with every US hire to ensure you’re building trust, collecting feedback and helping them assimilate into the Dashlane community.
    • Analyze and report on Onboarding survey data.
    • Foundational stuff such as running background checks, preparing all data entry for new hire in BambooHR, coordinating with Workplace Experience and IT to ensure that new hires receive their work equipment and Dashlane swag timely.
  • If you choose, lead global People Analytics and/or Feedback Checkpoints (what we call our performance reviews).
  • Provide People / HR support to Dashlaners across the business, such as swift and effective resolutions to employee questions and challenges.
  • Maintain some of the systems we use to run key HR processes across the company, such as performance management, engagement surveys, exit surveys, US benefits, employee communications and more.
  • Lead effort to continually find and implement fresh ways to celebrate success so people feel fulfilled and motivated.
  • Coordinate training and development efforts, including influencing talented Dashlaners to create and deliver their own mini-trainings.
  • Build compliance into all we do, including with running various audits and reports.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years professional work experience, preferably in a tech startup in People/HR space or other experience with strong project management and communications skills

We’re Also Looking For:

  • Strong work ethic. You’re proactive, highly motivated, and self-directed with great time management and prioritization skills. You work whenever and wherever is needed to make things happen but also serve as a role model for respecting the value of having a life outside of work.
  • Experience with or interest in learning People/HR skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • An empathetic and engaging style. You connect well with people and understand their needs. You have strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • A belief that there’s a way you can solve any challenge. You understand and are energized by the impact of ensuring employee needs are constantly met. You take pride in delivering timely and thorough service and follow-up.
  • Integrity. You understand the balancing act of how to handle confidential information and sensitive issues in an environment where one of our most important values is Transparency.
  • You’re supportive of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging and constantly striving to do better and help educate others to do so as well.
