Head of People Experience

We’ve been a remote company for over 10 years and have helped write the playbook on creating a world class remote employee experience. As we continue to scale, we’re excited to bring on our first Head of Employee Experience to build out this function and be a strategic partner to the business at all employee touchpoints in order to keep driving engagement and retention. About the role

  • You will imagine, create, and own programs, initiatives, and practices to map the end-to-end remote employee experience and strengthen our remote culture as we scale.
  • You’ll help reinvigorate our onboarding process to meet the needs of our remote team and build on top of our new hire’s first 180 days in partnership with our amazing People Experience Specialist who will report to you.
  • You’ll be an essential and trusted partner to our leadership team, and build out a world class performance and career development strategy, while role modeling our core values of excellence, helpfulness, and ownership.
  • While we pride ourselves on being a remote-first company, we love coming together in-person for company retreats twice a year. You’ll work with our external partners who plan logistics for these events and serve as the company liaison to help continue leveling up the experience.
  • You’ll oversee our bi-annual employee engagement surveys (we use CultureAmp), data analysis, and partner with leaders on areas for growth and opportunity. As a result, you’ll have your finger on the pulse of the organization, assessing organizational health, and effectiveness on a regular basis.
  • You will be empowered to take an entrepreneurial approach—meaning you can set a high-level strategy and are also willing to get hands-on with the details when needed.
  • Salary: We have an internal transparent salary matrix for each team. For this role, we are paying $198,000-$208,000 USD. Read more about how we approach compensation here!

About you

  • You believe remote work is the future and stay current with trends in remote company engagement and culture, and feel excited to be a thought leader working at a company that’s led the way over the past decade.
  • Significant experience working directly with senior leaders. You have a demonstrated ability to influence and build high-impact partnerships and know how to build trust on a remote team.
  • A willingness to be proactive, are employee-centric, and are able to create an environment of open communications and learning.
  • Track record of being resourceful with an eye for detail, an excellent writer, visual communicator, and project manager
  • Many years experience in increasingly responsible business roles, including Human Resources, Communications, Learning and/or related positions
  • Experience growing and managing a high performing team
  • Experience designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating learning and leadership programs with skills in assessing and measuring effectiveness
  • Process and project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently
