Director, Enterprise Sales
Chili Piper is looking to add a Director of Enterprise Sales to our rapidly growing organization. This position will assist Chili Piper in continuing our growth in the Enterprise segment, selling our best-in-class software exclusively to companies of 1,500+ employees.
Leading a small team of tenured AEs, AMs and SDRs, this leader will be uniquely positioned to influence the success of both our sales organization and company at large. The right person for this role will be comfortable (and excited about) defining strategy, working autonomously, and rolling up their sleeves when necessary to make an impact at the point of revenue. They will be adept at driving internal and external stakeholders through complex sales cycles and speaking intelligently to various tech stacks in SaaS sales.
This position reports to the SVP of Sales and will have significant exposure to all of Chili Piper’s executive leaders, with ample opportunity to advance as we continue to scale.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and develop a team of Enterprise AEs, AMs and SDRs
- Develop and maintain a scalable enterprise playbook – starting at the top of the funnel and progressing through close, expansion, and renewal
- Participate in discovery, demo, expansion, renewal, and escalation calls alongside your team as necessary
- Partner closely with Marketing, Channel, Partnerships, Product, Customer Love and other internal teams to ensure Chili Piper is well-positioned to win and support Enterprise accounts
- Occasionally attend in-person events with target customers, representing Chili Piper well in the broader SaaS community
- Accurately forecast your team’s performance on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Bring valuable customer feedback and data back to executive leadership to inform Chili Piper’s evolving product suite and processes
- Recruit, hire and train candidates with the support of Recruiting and Sales Enablement
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of consultative B2B sales experience (ideally selling into Sales or Marketing functions)
- 2 years of enterprise-specific SaaS leadership (manager or above) experience in a company selling to multiple segments is a must
- Experience with inbound and outbound sales motions
- MarTech and/or Sales Tech experience a plus
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Ability to multitask while managing multiple priorities
- Intimate knowledge of processes and tech stacks within an inbound sales organization
