Corporate Accountant

Responsibilities

• Assist the month-end close including reconciliations, accruals and general journal preparation to ensure financial reports are accurate and complete
• Adopt and usher new software technologies to automate our processes
• Manage supplier invoicing and outbound payments in an efficient manner
• Complete monthly tax filings and address state & local tax issues with external advisors
• Assist with payroll duties
• Support billing team with delivery of customer invoices and associated revenue recognition
• Identify technical accounting issues and support team to implement solutions
• Other duties and ad-hoc projects as required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Experience in public accounting preferred
• Highly organized, independent, self-motivated, objective thinker with excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• High proficiency in Excel (e.g., vlookups, sumifs, pivot tables)
• Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Comfort working remotely with occasional travel
• Experience with Quickbooks, NetSuite, and/or Airbase a plus
• CPA desired
