Teachable is seeking a creative, analytical and results-driven product marketing manager to join our growing product marketing team. The product marketing function brings products to market through positioning/messaging and field enablement (sales, customer success, marketing). The function also conducts market research (including pricing research), and supports the voice of the customer process.
The ideal candidate will combine their knowledge of our target audience, strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills to deliver strategies that drive business revenue and adoption. The ideal candidate is also expected to work closely with the Director of Product Marketing (whom this role reports into) to set visions and strategies for the team in support of Teachable’s broader goals.

Responsibilities

  • Drive go-to-market strategy and guide execution of new features and product launches by working closely with product pods and the product operations team
  • Own and conduct research to understand our markets, customers and competitors and evangelize and share actionable insights with leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Create positioning and messaging that differentiates our product and makes Teachable the obvious product of choice for our target customers
  • Partner with content and acquisition marketing on campaigns by providing compelling narratives and bring those campaigns to life across channels (Comms, PR, Web, Social, etc.)
  • Develop sales materials and train sales teams on personas, competitive intelligence, and product features to increase win rates and reduce sales friction
  • Be the expert in the product, and develop industry and customer expertise and insights to influence the product roadmap
  • Support pricing and packaging changes and new product pricing

Requirements

  • 5+ years of total work experience, with 1-3 years in product marketing preferred
  • Sharp attention to detail with exceptional project management and organizational skills
  • Thrives in ambiguity and have a “make it happen” attitude
  • Excellent analytical skills with an ability to quickly dive into data and find insights
  • Excellent writing skills and a love for writingGrowth mindset, open to feedback and learning
  • Experience in product-led startups a plus
