Splunk is looking for an Alliance Marketing Manager to assist in the development and execution of partner marketing programs with Splunk’s most strategic partners. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities and responsibilities shift with the business. Responsibilities
- Develop annual and six-month comprehensive marketing plans with strategic partners. Incorporate specific geography plans into the overall strategic partner marketing plan for specific alliance partners
- Manage the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, programs, events and activities with Splunk strategic partners
- Work with partners across our partner ecosystem such as Global Systems Integrators (GSIs) and Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to strengthen our value proposition to customers, create broader market awareness and generate new business opportunities with and through our partners
- Create internal enablement content for the sales teams to explain and promote joint solutions with the partners
- Develop and manage relationships with key partners and internal teams to help further the relationship and joint marketing opportunities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with corporate & product marketing, partner programs and operations, vertical and industry marketing, finance, product management, marketing operations, PR/AR, industry events, sales enablement, third party agencies, business/corporate development and sales to guide the execution of alliance marketing and awareness programs globally
- Track and report progress against program targets and metrics, including creating reports and providing analysis of outcomes for monthly and quarterly marketing reviews.
- Manage and plan quarterly budgets for executing on partner marketing programs
- Work closely with global teams and key stakeholders in AMER, APAC and EMEA
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
- 3-7 years of relevant marketing experience with alliance and/or partner marketing and field marketing experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
