The role of a Senior Software Engineer directly impacts the next generation environment health and safety (EHS) platform we’re building at Dakota.This role will help design and build exceptional front end experiences for our customers while creating the future of how we develop UIs for our future products.
Key Responsibilities
- Create the design, implementation, and testing of front-end features
- Investigate, prototype, and implement new frameworks and tools
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver end-to-end systems and experiences
- Iterate on designs and features to deliver our customers a world class experience
- Develop responsive web experiences that look great and work even better across browsers and devices
- Write and maintain unit and automated integration tests
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, or related field, preferred
- Advanced professional software development experience
- Deep knowledge spanning through web client development and service development, specifically in TypeScript, JavaScript, React + Redux, Angular, and CSS
- Experience in designing net new systems or greenfield features and functionality
- Excellent problem solving, reasoning, communication, and top-notch coding skills
- Solid understanding of web technologies: JavaScript, DOM, CSS, HTML5, XML, JSON, and/or AJAX
- Experience with Web Accessibility standards and practices
- Deep passion for creating, developing, and delivering exceptional user experiences
