Sales and Marketing Internship

Flowhub is the leading cannabis software company providing Metrc-compliant point of sale, inventory management, dispensary analytics, mobile ID scanners for customer check in and auditing, and easy integrations. The Flowhub dispensary management platform helps increase cannabis sales and compliance for thousands of legal medical marijuana and retail cannabis dispensaries throughout Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, Oklahoma, and Oregon.
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) and Market Development Representative (MDR), you will generate qualified opportunities from inbound and outbound leads. The SDR and MDR Interns will support the marketing and sales department.
Leads come from both new and existing customers, meaning businesses starting a dispensary for the first time and those that have been around awhile and want to improve their existing dispensary management software. Outbound prospecting includes supporting a geographical territory that is aligned to one of our AEs, and calling, emailing, and creatively prospecting into new and existing dispensaries to generate qualified meetings and pipeline.

Responsibilities:
- Follow up on inbound marketing generated leads from the website, tradeshows, and other marketing programs to qualify prospects and book demos for AEs using combination of personalized channels such as phone, email, SMS, social media, video, etc. – maintain SLA
- Diligently populate and update records in Salesforce CRM, following reporting processes for accurate ROI tracking throughout the sales cycle
- Support Account Based Marketing (ABM) initiatives including direct mail, roadshow campaigns and tradeshows
- Daily social media support and engagement
- Assist marketing team with event planning, PR campaign promotion, direct mail and other initiatives that related to pipeline development
- Collaborate with sales team on account strategy, demand generation activities, communication plans, and results
Requirements:
- Requirements: 0-2 years of professional experience
- 5-15 hours expected per week
- Recent grad or working towards a degree or diploma in a Business/Marketing related program
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A genuine interest sales / marketing development as a craft and a commitment to continued improvement
