You are a best-in-class Senior Account Executive responsible for crafting, managing and closing opportunities within a DACH territory. You’ll demonstrate all the behaviours associated with a high-performance sales culture, specifically building new-business opportunities, as well as up-selling and cross-selling within our extensive install base and delivering results against a quota.

You are passionate about customer experience and excited to show other organisations how Zendesk solutions can impact their mission and operations.

You will:

  • Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue goals
  • Continually build pipeline of new business, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities
  • Become an authority on Zendesk’s products and conduct discovery calls, presentations, and demos with prospects and customers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with our amazing customers in your territory
  • Demonstrate and sell value to key executive partners within the accounts during dynamic as well as complex sales cycles
  • Track all opportunity and customer details including use case, purchase time frames, next steps, and forecasting in Salesforce

You have:

  • Experience selling to Director/VP level leaders
  • 5+ years of software selling experience; SaaS experience preferred
  • Outbound prospecting experience (is a plus)
  • A consistent track record in success vs quota
  • Proficiency using Salesforce.com
  • Skilled in virtual presentations, online web demos, remote sales processes

You are:

  • Technically savvy with a thorough understanding of a related technology
  • Fluent in German and have business level English
