Duties & Responsibilities
- Research and identify outreach opportunities aimed at cultivating and attracting a diverse pool of applicants
- Post jobs internally and externally
- Participate in recruitment strategy meetings and document search strategy agreement
- Serve as first point of contact for applicants. Triage and answer questions
- Review resumes for basic qualifications and send on to the Assistant Director of Employment
- Conduct and summarize basic phone screens of all applicants identified by the Assistant Director of Employment
- Schedule phone screens and/or interviews with the Assistant Director of Employment and the hiring manager
- Track and ensure the accurate disposition status of all applicants based on information received by the Assistant Director and Hiring Managers
- Check and summarize references to be reviewed by the Assistant Director
- Partner with the Assistant Director and the Assistant Dean as well as other colleagues in the office to create efficient systems, tools and resources to support hiring managers and applicants, including the use of available internal technology
- Support Staff DEI initiatives including planning and logistics for related events
- Research, identify and staff career fairs and other opportunities to engage a diverse pool of potential applicants as well as ensure the visibility of HGSE as a potential employer
- Collaborate on developing and implementing trainings for managers and staff on the recruitment and hiring process
- Contribute to the evaluation and design of process improvement initiatives in the HR office
- Serve as back-up to the HR Coordinator and HR Administrator as needed and requested

Additional Qualifications
Exceptional attention to detail with a strong customer service orientation. Experience managing complicated calendars and scheduling meetings/interviews with multiple people. Previous experience with applicant tracking systems and other databases. Previous experience with supporting the recruitment function of an organization strongly preferred.
