Department of Athletics – Digital Media

Responsibilities

Works with the Assistant AD for Digital Media to develop and implement strategies that fuel fan engagement and positively portray FSU’s athletic programs, coaches, and student-athletes by utilizing Seminoles.com, social media platforms, and graphics while working with the sports information and digital media staffs.

Utilizing Adobe Suite, produces engaging graphics for use on FSU athletics’ social media accounts and digital platforms.

Works with the Assistant AD for Digital Media in managing the direction of the department’s official website by coordinating digital content in order to drive engagement on the website and increase traffic.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in a appropriate area and three years appropriate experience, or a combination of post high school education and appropriate experience equal to seven years.

Knowledge of applicable computer applications and basic computer functions.

Experience with electronic and web-based communication including web design and social media.

Experience with or knowledge of marketing research techniques and tools.

Ability to compile, review, and reconcile data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

Pay Plan

This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.

Schedule

Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends.

Criminal Background Check

This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check. The background check will be conducted as authorized and in accordance with University Policy 4-OP-C-7-B11.
