Job Title: Cooperative Monitor – Atiku Center
Locations: Mubi-Adamawa, Damaturu-Yobe & Maiduguri-Borno
Department: Atiku Center (UNHCR)
Duration of Employment: Until December 31, 2018
Summary of Position
- Cooperative Monitor is responsible for monitoring and mentoring of business cooperatives facilitated by AUN under the UNHCR protect project.
- The cooperative monitor will be in direct contact with the Cooperatives and provide targeted support and mentorship to cooperatives so they manage and grow their business in a collegial and collaborative manner.
- S/he will provide guidance on the development and implementation of Cooperative business and marketing plans, Support cooperatives with networking and marketing of products etc.
Position Requirements
- NCE, OND in Social Sciences or any related field
- At least six months previous experience with NGOs in community-based work.
- Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing English
- Fluency in Hausa/Kanuri is Mandatory
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Hands on experience in the use of Office applications such as word and excel will be an added advantage.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
