We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Director of Financial Accounting & Controls

Location: VI, Lagos

Reports to: CFO

Direct Reports: 6

Indirect Reports: 50 -60

Key Responsibilities/ Requirements

• Set the section’s goals and objectives and ensure the cascading of such to the direct reports’ individual goals
• Apply individual items of sector’s policies, procedures and processes and ensure adherence and implementation.
• Ensure the ongoing development of the section’s employees, and guide the activities of direct reports.
• Oversee the overall performance of direct reports according to communicated KPI’s.
• Contribute to the achievement of the strategic objectives of the sector through performing own responsibilities and coordinating direct reports performance.
• Degree in accounting, audit/risk management
• ACA, ACCA, CIMA & APA
• Minimum of Eighteen (18) years of experience in audit & accounting with at least Eight (12) years in a supervisory role.
• ERP experience (AX, SAP, Oracle, SUN & NAV)
• Audit experience in big 4 audit firm (audit section)
• Experience in all core functions of finance and accounting
