Specific accountabilities:
• Assists Highway Service employees in the performance of the movement of freight (loads) by performing the following duties:
• Performs or assists customer service personnel with tracing loads and confirming deliveries.
• Assists customer service personnel by monitoring the movement of freight to ensure timeliness of deliveries.
• Provides regular status reports of shipments in progress to customers as needed or required.
• Obtains necessary or requirement documentation from vendors, customers, or service providers.
• Reviews invoices accuracy, completeness, required attachments, and fuel service charges (FSCs).
• Assists with payment exception report forms (PERFs) research, resolution, and response.
• Assists with investigation, research, and responses to discrepancies between actual and “Profile” invoicing.
• Regularly performs reception duties during scheduled portions of the workday by answering incoming telephone calls to the company's switchboard, directing calls to appropriate destinations, greeting visitors, and directing visitors to appropriate personnel.

• Complies with all company rules, policies, and procedures. Works and behaves safely by following all safety rules and regulations.
• Performs any task required to support customer requirements and company goals.
Essential skills and experience:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Strong interpersonal and demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including excellent telephone skills.
• Must possess a strong working knowledge of MS Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook) or other comparable computer software programs.
• Must possess and exercise excellent customer service skills at all times.
• Must consistently demonstrate professional and pleasant behavior and effectively communicate in stressful situations and/or environments.
• Strong ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks.
• Must work well with others, including vendors, suppliers, and internal and external customers to achieve common goals.
• Ability to develop understanding of highway transportation industry.
• Ability to accurately input and edit transaction data, in a timely manner, (including accessorials and discrepancies) in the Company's computerized order-entry system.
