Tetra Tech’s NY-based Architects & Engineers (A/E) Group, consisting of approximately 80 professionals, designs innovative, sustainable solutions in a collaborative environment including experts in more than 15 areas of facility design. Our clients include K-12 public schools, local governments, federal government agencies, and higher education and commercial clients.

Our team currently seeks a Marketing Manager to assist with the furthering of the A/E Group’s recent successes in K-12 schools, higher educational facilities, and other state/local government projects. In this role, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for the creation of a wide range of materials that support overall marketing strategies, writing and editing copy for proposals and other marketing materials, event and conference planning, customer satisfaction initiatives, and promoting the company’s brand. The A/E Group, which is headquartered in Ithaca, NY with other offices in Albany and Farmingdale, has a 55 year history of being one of the most recognized firms in New York State in K-12 public school design. The Marketing Manager position may be located in any of the three offices in New York.

We are looking for someone who is eager to work in a collaborative environment with many committed professionals. We are dedicated to providing the best possible learning and work environments for all of our clients, incorporating innovative technologies and professional practices including STEM and remote learning environments, sustainable design, energy conservation and management, resiliency, and design through advanced graphic imaging including virtual reality.

The successful candidate will work with Senior Management, Business Development Leaders and the Marketing Team, reporting to Senior Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and advance our A/E marketing initiative

  • Support and collaborate with our Business Development Leaders in each office to develop and implement marketing plans, presentations and proposals

  • Enthusiastic participation in an innovative and creative environment

  • Active engagement in business/social/professional organizations and events including trade shows and conferences that promote or generate business relationships

  • Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional activities

  • Development and maintenance of a database documenting the firm’s experience

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience coordinating technical and professional teams

  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, or Communications

  • Excellent technical writing and editing skills

  • 10+ years of marketing experience, preferably in the A/E profession

  • Solid management and organizational skills

  • Strong verbal communication and collaboration skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact with clients and industry partners, and work as a member of various teams

  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments and periodic high pressure/tight deadlines

  • Proficient in the use of all MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Outlook)

  • Familiarity with graphic design software such as InDesign, Photoshop, Muse, and Illustrator
