Description
Percona is seeking passionate individuals who are interested in Marketing and/or studying the field of Marketing. At Percona, your internship will not be spent getting executives coffee. Actually, you will have the ability to work remotely and jump right into the work just like the rest of us!

Interns who successfully complete the program may be considered for full-time employment after graduation.
The Percona Internship Program Offers you the Opportunity to:
- Gain real-world knowledge and experience in marketing B2B
- Learn about marketing software and best practices
- Participate in regular department meetings
- Implement and own important projects and tasks
- Collaborate with key staff like VPs, Directors, and Managers
- Work remotely and/or onsite (if you live in the Raleigh, NC area)
Key Responsibilities:
- Project management
- Generate and analyze reports
- Learn basics of website management
- Content management
- SEO
- Some background in computer science, IT,programming, software engineering
- Basic HTML, CSS
- Basic Graphic Design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Strong English writing and editing skills
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a student or recent graduate of high school or college
- Must have a love for all things Marketing
- Must be motivated, organized, and a self-starter
- Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Google Drive
- Ability to participate within a cross-functional team and act autonomously as necessary
- Verbal and written skills in English
- Must have access to Internet and computer
- Skype Prefered for communications
- Able to work and train in a remote (work from home) environment

Schedule & Compensation:
- 20 hours / week min
- $15 per hour

Our hiring process includes the following steps:
- Pre-employment aptitude and personality screening
- Interview with a Percona veteran to assess cultural fit
- Minimum of one phone screen with the hiring manager, comprised of behavioral interview questions and an opportunity for you to ask questions about the position
- Minimum of one interview with the hiring team
