Job Description

Cuero Regional Hospital is seeking a Marketing & Development Coordinator.

  • The Marketing/Development Coordinator is the primary liaison with the advertising agency and as such coordinates with local resources to assist with implementation of overall marketing plan.
  • He/she will coordinate with hospital administration and department leadership to understand the organizational priorities to increase community awareness and assist with programmatic advertising.
  • This may involve development of materials with organization logo, programmatic function and coordination with local advertising opportunities.

Position Details:

  • Position is typically Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm
  • Occasionally work evening events and weekend events.

Position Requirements:

  • The individual will be responsible for meeting with local resources to promote hospital programs and/or learn of needs that the organization may be able to fulfill.
  • Local resources may include local business, government, and physicians.
  • This position will be key to developing and setting up events, health fairs, speaking engagements and press releases.
  • Coordinates and supports DeWitt Medical Foundation as needed to provide graphic design and advertising.

Education:

  • Minimum of an Associates Degree
  • Bachelors Degree Preferred

Experience:

  • 2 years of Healthcare related experience or training in working with
  • event planning,
  • physician relationships,
  • community outreach,
  • marketing/news and
  • advertising * Experience with Adobe Creative Suites and MS Office
