About the Role:

The Jr. Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting with planning, organizing, scheduling, follow up, problem resolution and status reporting on global Disaster Recovery (DR) projects. The Coordinator will liaise with members of the Infrastructure Services teams and assist with disaster recovery projects. The coordinator will report to the Vice President, Infrastructure Services - Disaster Recovery

Job Duties in Brief:

  • Planning, execution, and post-implementation activities for projects within the Disaster Recovery team.
  • Assist with development and regular review of Disaster Recovery Plans and documentation.
  • Utilizing our Service Desk online tool to search and create Change Orders, Request tickets, as well as maintaining status in SharePoint.
  • Create and maintain disaster recovery and high availability (HA) testing and metric reports.
  • Data entry and analysis of audit results using SharePoint and other online tools.
  • Professional email and phone communication with teams across many countries and time zones. This includes scheduling and leading conference calls.
  • Learn the processes and procedures to be followed for different locations in the event of an office outage.
  • Maintain quick reference Documentation for Office DR to assist in actual disaster situations.
  • Participate in DR testing and recovery activities.Will include some non-business hours and weekend work.
  • Utilize Microsoft Project to help maintain and update Project Plans.
  • Assist with managing DR project schedules.
About You:
  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with 1 – 3 years of technology experience
  • Experience using Microsoft SharePoint
  • Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Demonstrated strong proficiency in interpersonal and communication skills including oral and written English
  • Must be able to communicate professionally and to be able to communicate with different business groups in different part of the world
  • Self – Motivated, self-starter, proactive and ability to be self-directed when required
  • Event planner attitude with ability to plan the events and to prioritize work according to deadlines.
  • Organized and able to keep track of many tasks at one time
  • Ability to work with senior executives
  • Availability and willingness to travel (10%) occasionally to other Citco locations for business.
  • Occasional work on weekends (once in a month)
  • Familiar with IT operations
  • Familiar with project management principles
