Description

Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives for complex, high-impact projects related to Fraud. In-depth evaluation of complex business processes, systems and industry standards.
Directly interfaces and manages relationships with internal and external cross-functional business and technical groups.
Ability to manage Business Analyst leads in multiple workstream functions.
Consults with the business clients to determine system functional specifications and high level design.
Partners with multiple teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals; identifies and defines necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process enhancements.
Provides direction and technical leadership; acts as technical resource in all phases of the development process.
Evaluates new IT developments and evolving business requirements and recommends appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems.
Considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment; identifies and communicates risks and impacts; proposes risk mitigation options.
Provides expertise in area and an advanced level of understanding of the principles of business analysis.
Possesses a comprehensive understanding of how own area and others (i.e., architecture or infrastructure) collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving business objectives.
Provides in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
Influences strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel or provided services which directly impact the business.
Persuades and influences others through strong and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills.
Serves as a liaison between the business community and IT to elicit and document business requirements; Experience with Use Case methodology and Blueprint tool preferred.
Agile Experience

Qualifications

BS/BA degree or equivalent combination of education/experience
Senior level experience in a Business Analysis role. Subject matter expert in at least one area of Business Analysis.
Experience in the financial industry and with credit cards systems is highly preferred.
Strong customer focus and management of client expectations; ability to establish and maintain a high level of user trust and confidence in the IT group's knowledge of and concern for users' business needs.
Must be able to effectively provide updates and communicate key initiatives to senior management.
Evaluate new tools and products that enhance risk detection and prevention.
Demonstrated strong analytical and leadership skills.
Possess strong collaborating and/or influencing skills.
Strong relationship building skills.
Aptitude to team and work independently with minimal direction in a fast-paced, changing environment - excellent prioritization skills a must.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet assigned deadlines.
Knowledgeable of SDLC, Agile and Waterfall Methodology
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate with management and employees across business units.
