HVAC Mechanic

Complete Building Services, a building operations/facilities maintenance company, is seeking a Building Engineer/Journeyman HVAC Mechanic with a Secret Clearance for a large facility in Washington DC. CBS is a division of The Donohoe Companies, Inc. - Washington's oldest real estate company.

• Conduct inspections of systems and associated plant as required
• Performs general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings
• Maintain plant and equipment in sound operating condition
• Diagnose and repair HVAC system problems as assigned by Work Control
• Provide direction and support to sub-contractors designated to perform repair of plant, equipment and/or hardware
• Interface with building managers and other customer representatives in order to ensure client satisfaction
• Accurately document work performed on trouble tickets or work orders
• Place and/or remove systems, hardware and equipment as required
• Purchase materials and supplies, and maintain inventory as required for timely work completion
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must possess an Active Secret Clearance
• Must possess a valid Journeyman HVAC license
• Minimum five (5) years' experience in electrical or a journeyman Electrician License
• Universal CFC Certification
• Minimum of five (5) years of related experience with HVAC systems
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
• Able to lift up to sixty (60) pounds
• Capable of ascending ladders up to a height of thirty (30) feet
