This position will require the following key work areas:

  • Provide graphic design support to the marketing and creative teams
  • Ability to create artwork from inspiration
  • Ability to clearly present and communicate vision to marketing director
  • Ensures that product is consistent with market trends as well as business strategy
  • Develop and design promotional materials such as product information, art, logos, graphics, banner ads, emails, icons, and web pages
  • Develop and follow editorial calendar to meet scheduling deadlines
  • Manage website effectiveness, both content and the look and feel
  • Coordinate, execute, and edit photo library
  • Proofread marketing materials for corrections, accuracy, and consistency
  • Ability to prioritize on-going tasks and projects with distractions while maintaining attention to detail
  • Completes projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc.
  • Prepares finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment; purchasing from vendors.
  • Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.

An ideal candidate will be skilled in areas and programs such as:

  • Illustrator
  • Office Suite
  • Packaging Layout
  • Typography
  • Web Design (Front-end)
  • Social Media Marketing
  • Graphic/UI Design

Education and Background:

  • 2-4 Years work experience in graphic design
  • BFA focused in Graphic Design from an accredited University
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
  • Web management (SEM and SEO) experience a plus
  • Detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills with the innate ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Good understanding of working around various schedules, deadlines, and budgets
  • Strong creative portfolio with a variety of client exposure
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Strong typography and illustration skills
  • Strong sense of style and color
  • Strong organizational, time management, communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in the beauty industry strongly preferred
  • Portfolio must be submitted
