Front Desk Receptionist
Job Description
Basic Purpose :
Check-in and check-out guests, respond to guest inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction and service.
Front Desk Hours : 7AM - 3PM or 3PM to 11 PM (Weekdays and Weekends)
Essential Functions :
*Checking guests in and out
*Handle guest registration and room assignments, accommodating special requests whenever possible.
*Scheduling shuttle service
*Handle incoming phone calls for hotel. Including making/canceling reservations, transferring calls, etc.
*Use the required reservation script when taking reservations over the phone to promote the hotel and drive sales
*Assist guests in all inquiries in connection with the hotel services, in-house events, directions, local attractions, etc.
*Treat all guests in a professional and courteous manner
*Complete shift checklist for each shift worked.
*Coordinate with direct supervisor on special projects or tasks before leaving for the day
*Maintain a clean, warm, and inviting lobby and front desk reception area.
*Must have a friendly outgoing personality and enjoy working with people.
Preferred Skills : Excellent, professional verbal and written communication and problem solving skills are a must. Previous full service hotel experience as a front desk agent or phone operator.
