Activision Blizzard Studios is currently looking for Summer 2018 interns in our Film & TV division under Stacey Sher (veteran executive and producer of films like "Pulp Fiction")! Activision Blizzard Studios is a newly minted film and television studio devoted to creating high quality original content based on the company’s iconic, globally-recognized franchises. Activision Blizzard’s extensive library of world-class intellectual property includes some of the largest franchises which have not yet been developed into film and television, including Call of Duty, Overwatch, StarCraft, and Destiny. Combining top tier artistic taste with blockbuster audience appeal, Activision Blizzard Studios seeks to tell resounding stories on a global scale. Its debut TV series, “Skylanders™ Academy,” is distributed globally by Netflix and just received a season three pickup. This internship position is with our creative development department, run by Co-President Stacey Sher, a two-time Academy Award nominee who has produced more than two dozen major motion pictures, including Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight, Erin Brockovich, Garden State, Reality Bites, as well as nearly a dozen TV series. Ms. Sher is also a graduate of the University of Southern California’s Peter Stark Producing Program. Responsibilities: Interns will help with creative tasks, office management, and take
part in a pitch project that culminates with interns pitching to top
executives. Responsibilities include research for projects in development,
writing coverage and providing feedback on incoming screenplays, covering
phones, and helping with general office duties.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate is a self-starter, professional,
detail-oriented, resourceful, friendly, has strong communication and computer
skills, knowledge of the industry, and the ability to multi-task and
prioritize. A strong interest in film & TV development is a must.
Freshman – Incoming Seniors welcome.

Requirements:
Candidates must be
currently enrolled in a related degree program and receive school credit. This internship
is unpaid. Candidates must also hold a valid driver’s license and have reliable
access to a car (mileage reimbursement will be provided). Must be available from May/June – August/September 2018 for at least 2 days per week, 9:30am – 6:30pm (hour lunch break).
