Under direction is responsible for the safe coordination, instruction, training, and certification of Tulsa Community College students and others in fire related courses.Campus:

Minimum Qualifications:
Active or Retired Firefighter with at least 4 years active experience (must have access to helmet and set of bunker gear meeting NFPA minimum standards for live fire)
Current medical physical/Dr.’s release for job duties.
Instructor 1 Certificate (minimum for assistant) Instructor 2 Certificate (minimum for lead)
Open-minded, flexible, professional, enthusiastic, and physically fit and capable of performing job duties.
Must complete an 8 hour orientation/train the trainer session and occasional meetings/refreshers as needed.

Minimum Salary:
$22.74/hr
Work Schedule:
Variable hours AM or PM possible.
Must be able to commit to the possibility of working 0 to 29 hours per week.

Potential part-time instructors with be contacted as teaching assignments become available for the Spring 2018 semester.
- Must be a competent instructor with knowledge and experience in the topics of instruction.
- May be used in any program area as needed, including supervision, testing, and certification evaluations.
- May be utilized as lead or assistant instructor depending on knowledge, skills, experience, and/or qualifications.
