District Manager;
Prime Group is Looking for a District Manager ready for their next step in a career path of multiunit management. Do you have experience in assisting / coordinating multiple location sales and service activities? Are you a mentor / trainer?
We are looking for a candidate that will take on this responsibility in the major market of North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
Summary: The District Manager will take ownership in the growth and profitability of the district operations while providing and promoting the leadership, vision, support, direction and enforcement of company policies for all operations within the district and market served by performing the following duties.
Job Responsibilities:
- Providing leadership and ongoing training to all employees
- Communicate efficiently, both verbally and in writing
- Enforce all company policies, procedures and code of ethics
- Provide education and training in sales, production and office administration
- Proper time management and resource allocation
- Sales, production, cost management, employee management and safety tasks
- Promoting a productive and cooperative company culture and environment
- Training and mentoring employees
- Manage employee performance including hiring, termination, discipline, development and management
- Provide support and enhance client relationship efforts
- Lead the sales efforts to maximize sales for existing and new customers
- Maximization of operational efficiencies

Requirements
- Four-year Bachelor degree in business or related field preferred; two-year Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Minimum of five (5) years multi-unit retail sales/service operations leadership experience, preferably in transferable industry such as Retail Sales, Hotel or Restaurant, Leasing, Travel, Car Rental, or Equipment Rental.
- Valid state driver’s license
- Proven ability to consistently meet and exceed performance standards
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and motivational skills
- Proven ability to lead, develop and coach employees
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Able to prioritize multiple projects and deal with numerous interruptions
- Work well under pressure, meeting deadlines consistently
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Computer skills: Solid understanding of the Microsoft suite of products.
- Willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends. Must be able to perform some of the physical requirements of the job. They include daily walks of the property, cleaning the units and the property, opening and closing the storage doors (up to 50lbs), and similar light activities. These are necessary to do this job.

Travels within the District and to other designated locations as directed by the company.
