Distribution Coordinator

The Distribution Coordinator provides service and support by means of direct communication with the customer. They are responsible for proper and timely execution of sales orders. The Distribution Coordinator also generates and distributes daily, weekly and monthly shipment and tracking reports, as well as monitors inventory levels through forecasting and weekly counts. Working hours for this position are 7:30-4:00, Monday through Friday.

• Pull, pack and ship all outbound customer orders, including inventory transfers.
  
• Setup bill of materials and job masters for production.
  
• Identify duties and participate in time studies necessary for proper billing.
  
• Work with Director of Employment Services to complete job quotes and time studies.
  
• Generate, transmit, distribute and maintain accurate reports detailing all shipping, tracking, damaged and scrap reports.
  
• Monitor inventory levels through forecasting and physical counts in order to alert customer and maintain smooth fulfillment of orders.
  
• Work closely with production staff and Product Service Specialist in order to coordinate completion of work on the production floor.
  
• Provide training, guidance and supervision to Production Workers.
  

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associates degree in Business Administration, Communication, or equivalent field preferred.
  

• Two or more years in Business Administration, distribution activities or related fields.
  
• Computer skills, and working knowledge of production and inventory software preferred.
  

• Strong skills in oral and written communication, familiarity with a manufacturing environment, skilled in organization, and detail-oriented.
