Description

The Director of Visual Merchandising will be responsible for providing the creative vision and tactical roadmap to build and elevate the retail visual team through dynamic leadership, personal development of direct reports, creative & strategic problem solving, and ultimately to enable a high level of field merchandising execution. The Director of Visual Merchandising will effectively support the retail division through development of the DRO VM vertical; with primary responsibilities of developing visual storytelling, overseeing product presentation across all locations, and elevating the overall brand presentation standards of retail stores within all Caesars Entertainment properties. The DRO is a dynamic, decisive and inspiring leader who has strong relationship building and communication skills with both internal partners and external clients. This position focuses on cross functional collaboration with VP Creative, DRO Store Planning, field merchandisers, merchandise buyers & planners, retail & corporate finance teams, and retail operations team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, and / or three to five years related management experience in corporate retail and / or hospitality retail or relevant customer related experience
  • Experience and familiarity with print production (large and small format).
  • Working knowledge of architectural programs (AutoCAD) and 3D modeling.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Develop VM Strategy & Implement VM Standards for all concepts:
  • Visual brand standards
  • Merchandising guidelines & principles
Partner with Merchandise Planning Team on Buys & Collections:
  • Inform interior merch plans
  • Collaborate on promotional strategy
  • Evolve flow and wayfinding as part of the customer journey
  • Suggest key product stories for windows and seasonal focus
Lead Vision and Creation of In-Store Graphics & Signage:
  • Create and implement seasonal window campaigns
  • Develop in-store lifestyle imagery
  • Create seasonal key stories (i.e. Holiday)
Create & Maintain Database of Store Attributes:
  • Conduct store audit of assets
  • Build comprehensive store database for tracking store design details and related signage implications.
Create and Plan All Seasonal Tool Kits:
  • Develop & maintain promotional signage library
  • Develop in-store directional signage
  • Source seasonal décor & props
  • Develop mannequin program
  • Facilitate floorsets & conduct walk through / store visit assessments
Evolve Concept Store Layouts & Strategy:
  • GM

Provide Design Direction on Product Design:
  • Co-branded merchandise
