Job Description
- Protect the legal, financial and moral well being of the Larry H Miller Group of Companies;
- Effectively work as a team with the Custodial Department to achieve maximum production and cleanliness;
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure proper organization and functionality;
- Be a teacher to support the efforts of other employees to be successful;
- Seek ways to improve business operations efficiencies and customer service.
- Achieve or exceed group standards such as environment safety, cleanliness, protection of company assets and maintenance of supplies which result in customer service satisfaction.
- Maintain proficient knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment.
- Accurately report and communicate any unsafe working conditions to the Custodial
- Manager to prevent accidents and limit liabilities.
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times and adhere to all OSHA/EPA requirements.
- Effectively communicate with and perform all job duties requested by management.
- Demand the highest ethical standards from yourself and others.
- Portray an example of positive attitude and professionalism in work environment.
- Maintain regular and satisfactory attendance and punctuality.
- Resolve customer complaints to mutual resolution.
- Attend applicable training to maintain professional expertise on current on new technologies.
- Proficient in the use of basic cleaning equipment and procedures.
- Self motivated by way of ability to perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
- Proven track record of reliability, honesty and trustworthiness.
- Detail oriented.
- Professional communication skills
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
- Often required to work long hours and be available when needed or as business requires (including holidays, nights and weekends)
- Exposed to intermittent walking, standing, twisting
- Exposed to intermittent bending, squatting, kneeling and climbing stairs
- Must be able to work in outside conditions, including snow, rain, wind and heat.
- Work performed in an office and outdoor settings.
- Exposure to custodial environment such as noise, dust, odors and fumes, chemicals and adhesives.
- To perform other duties as required
- Must be able to communicate in English
