Job Description
Job Summary:Coordinates the installation, configuration and maintenance of ATMs, ATM Controller and other applications used to manage the ATMs. Investigates and resolve technical issues to ensure high availability of ATMs. Leads and coordinates initiatives to secure ATM network and ATM transactions. Ensures interoperability of ATM management applications with core banking system, card provider and other dependent software and services.
Assists the department in the development and execution of strategic plan for ATM Services, including budgeting. Monitors changes within the legal, regulatory, economic, competitive, and technology realm which may affect ATM Services functions and recommend implementation strategies to management. Will be the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for CDM’s, TCR’s, card issue machines, related peripherals and software. Serves as a back up to helpdesk and core operations team.
Responsibilities
1. Coordinate the installation and repair of all ATMs.
2. Investigate and resolve technical issues to ensure high availability of ATMs.
3. Coordinate the installation, configuration, decommissioning and maintenance of ATM Controller and other applications used to manage the ATMs.
4. Lead and coordinate initiatives with all vendors pertaining to ATM, TCR and CDM installs.
5. Ensure interoperability of ATM management applications with core banking system, card provider and other dependent software and services.
6. Will be the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for CDM’s, TCR’s, card issue machines, related peripherals and software.
7. Configure the ATM monitoring software to: monitor the status of the ATMs, automate ticket creation to notify credit union and vendor support personnel, create and distribute ATM uptime reports.
8. Configure the patch management software to: automate the installation of tested and verified upgrades and patches to ATMs, automate collection and distribution of electronic journal data, enable marketing team members to push marketing materials to ATMs.
9. Maintain integrity of ATM data by adding, removing and/or changing ATMs and ATM related information in the ATM Controller, Core Banking and other applications.
10. Create and maintain most current documentation of ATM services. Documentation includes but is not limited to detailed inventory, policies, procedures, training material, vendor contact information, and work flow and topology diagrams.
11. Participate in the review and recommendation of operational systems and procedures dependent on and/or related to ATM Services.
12. Serve as a primary point of contact for ATM services vendors.
13. Gather and provide information required for audits and security assessments of ATMs and related hardware and software.
14. Review and analyze reports from security scans, risk assessments and audits and implement mitigating measures.
15. Create procedures and cross train team members to perform basic troubleshooting and administration of all primary responsibilities.
16. When needed, assist the core operations and helpdesk teams with managing workloads.
17. Assist the department in the development and execution of strategic plan for ATM Services, including budgeting.
18. Review and take action on invoices the role is primarily responsible for.
19. Monitor changes within the legal, regulatory, economic, competitive, and technology realm which may affect ATM Services functions and recommend implementation strategies to management.
20. Participate in IT on-call program.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Two years of experience working with Automated Teller Machines or in an IT environment dealing hands-on with cash dispense machines, cash recyclers and related software. Must have understanding of networking fundamentals and windows client operating system (windows 7 and above). Preferred: Associate’s degree, knowledge of Jack Henry/Symitar and Star Station/PSCU.
