Job Description
- Taking inventory of supplies & ingredients
- Serving and displaying food as required
- Attend all training, general staff and in-service meetings.
- Maintain high employee morale.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures.
- Assists with training of new assistant cooks.
- Stands and walks short distances most of the day.
- Read and follow recipes and production schedules.
- Cover, label and date all prepared and stored foods.
- Prepare ground and pureed diets as needed.
- Prepare cold foods such as salads and desserts according to recipes.
- Good organizational skills cooking skills and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Experience in Country Club or Fine Dining preferred.
- Must have a clear criminal background check for working with the elderly
- ServSafe certified is a plus.
