  • Taking inventory of supplies & ingredients
  • Serving and displaying food as required
  • Attend all training, general staff and in-service meetings.
  • Maintain high employee morale.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures.
  • Assists with training of new assistant cooks.
  • Stands and walks short distances most of the day.
  • Read and follow recipes and production schedules.
  • Cover, label and date all prepared and stored foods.
  • Prepare ground and pureed diets as needed.
  • Prepare cold foods such as salads and desserts according to recipes.
  • Good organizational skills cooking skills and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Experience in Country Club or Fine Dining preferred.
  • Must have a clear criminal background check for working with the elderly
  • ServSafe certified is a plus.
