Job Description
Thomas Nelson seeks faculty to teach courses including design and delivery of instruction for day or evening classes. Instructors are responsible for student assessment and grading, as well as maintaining adequate on-campus presence and timely communication with students and the College.Minimum Qualifications
Candidate must possess a Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Art. Applicants should have a passion for the discipline and a commitment to a student-centered philosophy in support of academic excellence for diverse groups of learners. Strong written and verbal skills are necessary with a focus on presentation and dissemination of curriculum. Ability to learn and implement technology in the instructional process is preferred. The ideal candidate has experience and/or strong interest in teaching and inspiring adult learners to fulfill the college’s mission to change lives and empower students to succeed.
Must be able to work at all campus locations. Criminal history and other background checks will be required of the finalist candidate for the position. Satisfactory reference and background checks are a condition of employment.
